Education CS George Magoha has announced the Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCSE) results will be out in two weeks. Magoha, who was speaking in Kisumu while supervising distribution exam papers also revealed Composition and Insha papers are currently being marked. The marking of multiple choice questioned papers is complete.

”We have started marking Insha and Composition papers and hope that the results will be out within the next two weeks. Should there be any changes we will let you know,” he said shortly after supervising the opening of examination materials at Kisumu Central container.

The number of teachers at the national marking center has also been greatly reduced, due to Covid-19 restrictions as well as fears of the teachers contracting the virus.

“In some cases, if some teachers choose not to participate in the exercise over fears of contracting the disease we will not force them. This is a personal choice,” said Prof Magoha.
