CS Wahome slams Gachagua over remarks on French president’s presence in Kenya
Alice Wahome even though she is President Ruto’s CS on Housing and has to bear the horror of visiting some of Ruto’s very successful SHA housing projects has been one of Rigathi Gachagua’s most ardent follower running all over the places with him as soon as she is done with Ruto housing rallies.
Now it looks like even Alice Wahome cannot eat the crap coming out of Gachagua’s mouth when the nut case opposition leader decided to attack the President of France who is attending an international meeting in Nairobi by accusing him of being part of corruption in Kenya working with President William Ruto.
Ministry of Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over remarks against the just-concluded Africa Forward Summit, co-hosted by the Kenyan government and the French government.
Taking to her official X account on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Wahome accused Gachagua of misleading Kenyans following his address on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
“The Hon Rigathi Gachagua, former Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, your recent criticism of the Government, propelled by disbelief that H.E Dr William Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya, was able to host over 30 Heads of States and Governments, has exposed you badly,” Wahome stated.
She warned that Gachagua’s attempts to challenge Ruto’s decision to host over 30 heads of state were doomed to fail and questioned his suitability to lead Kenyans, citing his recent remarks criticising both French President Emmanuel Macron and UN Secretary General António Guterres
“You are a walking time bomb. You will blow yourself and your team in an attempt to reach H.E Ruto. And make no mistake. That is an impossible mission. You criticize the UN Secretary General and President Macron in one Statement and then tell us you are taking us, Kenyans, somewhere. Apana!” she added.
Gachagua to Macron
Opposition leader Rigathi Gachagua attacked French President Emmanuel Macron, accusing him of being linked to what he termed a multi-billion-shilling payout involving the cancelled Rironi-Mau Summit Road project.
Speaking at a press conference in Nairobi on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Gachagua stated that Kenyan taxpayers were exposed to losses in the billions following the termination of the long-awaited highway upgrade project, which had initially been awarded to French firms under a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement.
“Mr Macron, you are an accomplice in the Ksh7 billion payout from the people of Kenya linked to the cancelled Rironi-Mau Summit Road contract,” Gachagua claimed.
“Mr Guterres, be informed that President William Ruto is the greatest threat to Kenyan democracy and human rights violations,” he said.
Here is Kenya’s a pathetic opposition leader attacking the French President Mr. Emmanuel Macron and claiming that the French President is part of corruption in Kenya. That is a wild accusation. Does Gachagua want Mr. Macron to be arrested and charged with corruption while he is attending an international conference in Kenya? Maybe Gachagua will get Mr. Macron arrested in 2027 after he becomes Kenya’s president!
Kenya is just having one of the biggest international conferences in Nairobi with a lot at stake specifically in funding for development and France President just signed a deal to provide billions to help develop Lamu Port which is becoming an international hub for business and Gachagua wants to kill all that for his own selfish ambitions.
Gachagua then went on to molest UN Secretary General António Guterres by basically asking him to leave Kenya because according to him Ruto is the problem in Kenya. António Guterres should come back when and if Gachagua becomes Kenya’s president in the year 2053. God Lord.
You have this kind of international event in your country at least have some basic common sense to respect the country so that leaders from around the globe can have confidence that Kenya is a secure country worth developing and investing in for future development. We are talking about hundreds of billions in international aid and investments in Kenya right there in our face in Nairobi and some little political crook comes up and wants to ruin all that. For what when you are an impeached guy who cannot even hold the job of a village chief.
At least Alice Wahome had the guts to tell Gachagua not to hurt the country and she was pretty straight forward in her criticism of Gachagua and told him that he is a walking time bomb blowing up himself and the United Opposition team.
Where is Kalonzo Musyoka and other Gachagua babies in the opposition to at least pretend to stand for their country against Gachagua’s demeaning statements on Kenya as a country.
Can they stand up to Gachagua the way Alice Wahome did?
No, the Kalonzos cannot do that because they kneel to kiss Gachagua toes every chance they get. Let’s see how far that will take them. Even the principled Martha Karua cannot address the issue. They are all in the Gachagua worship room. Good luck in that terrible place.
Here we have an impeached guy who cannot even hold the job of a village chief insulting world leaders who are in Kenya for a meeting and the clowns around him have no guts to defend their country against such insults from Gachagua.
