Wiper denies Kalonzo-Gachagua political deal
The big agenda for the United Opposition group other than their WANTAM slogan which is actually their Manifesto for the country has been that they are all going to agree on this one candidate to face President William Ruto in 2027 elections.
Everybody knows the one candidate hallucinations with the entire opposition behind him or her is not going to happen because Kenyans know how their politicians work and it is mostly for themselves as individuals who don’t even care about a united country called Kenya so it is wishful thinking the opposition politicians would unite after one candidate.
Already the tensions are pretty obvious. Rigathi Gachagua who would die to be Kenya’s president even for only one day knows his presidential ambitions are doomed. As an impeached DP he cannot and will not hold any public office in the country.
Gachagua’s only option now and he is already taking his chances with that is he will have a PROXY president of Kenya after he picks a sure puppet for him to take State House. After that Gachagua will move from Wamunyoro to State House and his puppet boss their can go lie on bed somewhere as Gachagua runs the country starting with appointing state officials to run the country and he will pick them as he wishes so the so -called president can just keep sleeping and cheer him.
How grand is that going to be for the country.
In the news now Wiper Patriotic Front is busy dismissing reports that party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has struck a political deal with Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua.
“We wish to set the record straight: no such exclusive deal exists,” Njiru Kalonzo new operative whom he got from Gachagua team told Kenyans.
“The meeting held on 17th August 2026 at the Wamunyoro Residence was convened by Rigathi Gachagua to thank WPF Members of Parliament and Senators for the solidarity they showed him during his impeachment,” the party said.
While dismissing claims of an exclusive deal with Gachagua, Wiper said it remains committed to working with other opposition parties under the United Alternative Government in Waiting.
The party said the coalition-building process would continue through what it described as open, transparent and inclusive engagement.
Gachagua has already given himself the big job of being the Director of Opposition Presidential candidate campaign in 2027 and everybody knows that will be his first step to make sure that the opposition candidate must be his puppet and he will direct them on everything during the campaign and should they win what follows is obvious and that is the fact that Gachagua would then take State House.
Gachagua did not ask United Opposition leaders to give him the job of Director of Opposition Presidential campaign in 2027. He just announced it and all the opposition leaders knew those were orders from their boss and not requests for anything from them. That is the way things are going to be for the opposition going to the election.
With Gachagua, Kenya may end up with somebody who is not allowed to hold any public office by law actually holding the biggest national office in the country namely the Kenya presidency by proxy sitting at State House and taking orders from him starting with who to hire for which state jobs. That is not illegal. That is a political decision Kenyans have to make at the ballot in 2027.
Now the small issue for the big opposition self-declared presidential candidates is what to do with the Edwin Sifunas and Ndindi Nyoros and such upcoming political forces in the country.
The big opposition groups led by Gachagua and others will carry out an agenda to sweep upcoming political forces out of the pages of main politics in Kenya and have the big ones in the opposition do their job and Cleophas Malala came up with an idea when he met Sifuna at senator Boni Khalwale‘s home during the burial of his wife Gloria.
Malala: Gachagua ready to back Sifuna for President
Malala claimed that Gachagua is ready to endorse Edwin Sifuna as the opposition candidate and he asked Boni Khalwale to hand over his party to Sifuna so he can be nominated for the presidency by Gachagua.
Cleophas Malala knows Gachagua very well and even the Secretary General of DCP job given to him by Gachagua was taken away from him and now he hangs somewhere there in the wings.
Kenyans have to deal with one truth as cruel as it may seem. There is no way in hell or in Kenya for that matter that Rigathi Gachagua would lead his presumed 7 million Kikuyu votes to elect Edwin Sifuna a Luhya politician for the presidency in 2027.
Simply put Gachagua would never accept Sifuna as the United Opposition presidential candidate over his dead body. The ticket of Sifuna as the opposition candidate to face Ruto is simply not there and Sifuna himself knows that because he is a smart politician. He knows the truth and the dynamics in opposition politics in the country today.
The reality Kenya faces in 2027 is that Gachagua will allow Kaolonzo Musyoka to be the opposition presidential candidate on two conditions. The first is that Kalonzo if elected will let Gachagua run the presidency as he wishes and he will take some advice from Kalonzo if he needs it.
The second is that Kalonzo will have to pick the DCP big boy and Gachagua’s dear political son Nyandarua senator John Methu as the DP candidate. Rigathi Gachagua will not accept a presidential ticket without a Kikuyu in that ticket and that is his right and he is doing exactly that for the opposition.
The Fred Matiang’is, Martha Karuas and the Sifunas will have to deal with that reality. It is not Rocket Science. It is a simple political fact staring at Kenyans in their faces. The voters will deal with that as they wish when they vote and that is good for everybody.
Once things settle down and the 2027 political battles become clear, Kenyans are going to see the choices they have for the presidency and next government.
Right now politicians are all screaming about goonism as the biggest threat to the country. The reality the politicians will never talk about is that there are no goons lying there waiting to kill other Kenyans. Those young people struggling just to stay alive are not killers.
The real goons in our country today are the Kenya politicians. Those are the thugs who go out there to pay young Kenyans to kill other Kenyans as part of their political agenda because they have no other agenda for the country.
The politicians declare war coming weeks before they go to their rallies because if that war does not happen their rallies would be dead like mourning ceremonies. It looks like the politicians need the chaos and invite young people to go to the events ready to be hired to kill. Kenyans just saw that in Homa Bay and it has to be the last of such madness from politicians.
If the goonism from the politicians stop there will be no problem in the campaigns and Kenyans will have a peaceful election and make their choices as they wish. I don’t see anything wrong with that and so do millions of Kenyans.
