CS Murkomen: Govt Working Round the Clock to Facilitate Completion of Roads

Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen is working round the clock to facilitate prompt completion of roads currently under construction in Bomet and other parts of the country in line with promises the Kenya Kwanza Administration made in its manifesto to the people of Bomet and Kenyans.

The CS Spoke on Friday in Bomet county while inspecting the ongoing upgrading to bitumen standard of Jct B3 Longisa – Sigor – Chebunyo/Jct B3 Kyogong – Sigor roads, and the Silibwet – Merigi – Kaparuso – Tegat – Cheaper – Kimuchul – Matcher, Longisa – Kembu – Chemaner, Mulot – Kapkimolwa – Kembu – Kaparuso, Matecha-Mugoiywet roads in Bomet County.

”Once complete, the roads will boost agriculture, improve intra and inter-county connectivity, enhance trade and investment, and facilitate access to markets, learning institutions, and other public utilities,” CS Murkomen said.

The CS also made stopovers to acknowledge greetings from the people at Sigor, Kapkesosio, Kipsegon Bridge and Kaptambulyet River in Chepalungu Constituency, Kembu and Merigi in Bomet East, and Silibwet in Bomet Central.

Leaders who were present include Senator Hillary Sigei, Women Rep Hon.Linet Toto, Senator Joyce Korir, Hon. Victor Mandazi (Chepalungu), Hon.Richard Yegon (Bomet East), Hon. Brighton Yegon (Konoin), Hon. Richard Kilel (Bomet Central), Hon. Francis Sigei (Sotik), Hon. Wilson Sossion, County Assembly Speaker Hon. Cosmas Korir, many MCAs, former MPs and MCAs.
