My decade long campaign against primitive tribalism started paying off in 2024.
In 2014, I predicted the collapse of the murima tribal agenda in the ‘next decade’.
Back in 2014, the delusions of the Kikuyu-Kalenjin power axis was at its peak.
The collapse was spectacular in 2024.
The only victory the Gen Zs achieved in Kenya was to remove Murima tribalists from power and I thank them most profusely.
Primitive tribalist Rigathi Gachagua and his dirt water were thrown away.
Gen Zs achieved under President Ruto what the KAF men in 1982 achieved under President Moi: the removal of the THEN primitive tribalists from their stranglehold on power.
Moi may have been the President but who called the shots in his bureaucracy? Who abducted and tortured? Who ran state law and state security? Who dished the money?
The ‘82 coup removed Njonjo, weakened GG Kariuki and reduced Kibaki to near nothing (it is the stupid Luos who gave Kikuyus back the power in 2002 — 20 years after Hezekiah Ochuka had dropped the bombs ).
Remember that earlier in the year, the Kikuyus had amended the constitution to legally end multiparty democracy in Kenya.
The chokehold they had systematized for their “passing cloud” came back to eat them later in the year when those Luo airmen took to the sky.
Worse, their “passing cloud” was now entrenching!
The 1982 coup reorganized internal security and provincial administration in Kenya.
It was after the coup that the beginning of the end of the near 20 year hegemonic rule of the Kikuyu started to fade away in the ash heap of history.
They’d succeeded in transitioning the man they thought would be their puppet to power, but they went too far in their attempt to annihilate Luos.
It was the Luo reaction to this annihilation which hastened the beginning of the collapse.
The 1982 coup reorganized the politics and power permutations in Kenya, with other communities (including the much despised Luos) finally getting properly situated in state/govt roles.
A similar case happened in 2024.
Despite the fact that murima had succeeded in defeating the Luo and locking Luos out in the formation and organization of Ruto government; Gachagua was still not satisfied and was still putting MITEGOS in State House to ensure Raila Odinga never steps there. In other words, his war against Luos dis not end with the victory of William Ruto. He pursued quite spiritedly the complete defeat of the Luo, nationally and internationally; and his minions celebrated so joyfully, young and old.
He employed secret agents to monitor who the President meets and engages with. They told him that the President was meeting Raila Odinga. Gachagua went bonkers. He confronted the President. CONFRONTED.
He recently said these gross things and their moral, ethical and legal consequences seemed to have been lost in the chatter. CONFRONTED. What was so gross in Raila Odinga, a Kenyan, meeting President Ruto, a Kenyan?
The only thing I celebrate in the half-successful Gen Z putsch is the reorganization of national politics which brought in, among other things, the deluge!
