The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has officially released the dates and venues for its nationwide recruitment exercise targeting Police Constables.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, September 24, the Commission announced that the recruitment drive will take place from October 3 to October 9, 2025, across all 47 counties. Applicants have been urged to report to the designated centres in their counties by 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled dates.
“The National Police Service Commission seeks to recruit suitably qualified persons to be trained as Police Constables,” the statement read in part.
The exercise will begin on October 3 in counties including Nairobi, where recruitment centres will be at Nyayo Stadium, Moi Kasarani, Jacaranda Grounds, City Stadium, Kamukunji Grounds, and KTTC Gigiri. Other counties commencing on the first day include Baringo, with centres at Kabarnet Show Ground, Eldama Ravine Stadium, Barwessa, Kolowa, and Tangulbei. Similar exercises will take place in Bomet, Busia, Embu, Homa Bay, Kiambu, Kakamega, Kisumu, Kitui, Kilifi, Kwale, Laikipia, Lamu, Machakos, Meru, Migori, Mombasa, Nakuru, Nandi, Nyamira, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Siaya, Turkana, and Uasin Gishu, among others.
On October 6, additional recruitment will take place in counties such as Garissa at Garissa Primary School, Kericho at Belgut (Sosiot Grounds), and Kisumu at Ojola, Mamboleo Showground, and Pap Onditi. Other centres include Mandera Stadium, Maua Stadium in Meru, and Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
The exercise will continue in different sub-counties on October 7 and 8, with venues including Marigat in Baringo, Sotik Stadium in Bomet, and Kaptembwa Grounds in Nakuru. On October 9, the final day, recruitment will conclude in sub-counties such as Chemolingot in Baringo, Mulot in Bomet, Hulugho in Garissa, and Rongo in Migori.
The NPSC emphasised that the staggered schedule is meant to give all qualified Kenyans an opportunity to join the police service, while also ensuring fairness and efficiency in the recruitment process.
