If anybody wants to know what the Kenyan opposition groups will say or do tomorrow to urge Kenyans to vote for them in 2027, they just need to find out what the government is doing or saying today.
If there is a picture of some government leaders eating Kachumbari and Ugali today then rest assured that Kalonzo and Martha Karua will be in the front lines holding a press conference telling Kenyans why it so bad and unhealthy to to eat Kachumbari and Ugali.
They would be furious about any such eating habits. Instead Kalonzo and his opposition partners will be ordering Kenyans to never eat that stuff if they want the WANTAM opposition party to work for them after Ruto is gone. Instead the opposition leaders will be asking Kenyans to eat better food that is easily available for poor Kenyans and Gen Z everywhere.
Here are the kind of real foods the Kenya opposition leaders will want Kenyans to eat on a daily basis. They will tell Kenyans that if they do not have enough money to buy those kinds of food then it is because the government is refusing to buy food for Kenyans and must be removed in 2027.

At the moment the big talk about the government banning “free” education in Kenya is not working. It was a big deal for all of them starting with Rigathi Gachagua, who had to take a break from his daily walks with his spouse Dorcas all over the US and sending pictures home to his supporters and instead talked about how their new government will bring back “free” education in Kenya after William Ruto abolishes it.
Now that sound track is dying for the opposition because the big news today is how the government is working hard to make education more accessible to Kenyans and all that talk about ending the current education system in Kenya today is dead in the water. In fact the other day the government announced cutting down what university students pay.

Govt Slashes University Fees Effective Sept 1
The government has announced a major reduction in university fees across all academic programs, effective September 1, 2025. This move aims to make higher education more affordable for Kenyan families while maintaining the sustainability of public universities.
Govt Responds to Public Outcry
In a joint statement signed by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei and Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba, the Ministry of Education confirmed the policy change in response to widespread concern over the high cost of university education.
That is completely terrible news for the opposition parties in the country. What the heck are they going to talk about now. Why is Ruto’s government being so mean to Gachagua, Kalonzo and Martha Karua? What are they up to now and where does the opposition go to get talking points.
Kalonzo tried to go back to Sh. 1.2 billion church Ruto is building at State House but the problem was that the church was supposed to take money from the education budget. How the heck is Ruto doing both things and why are Kenyans not mad about that church business while they are praying under bushes in Kitui and other places where nobody has built any church. What is wrong with these Kenyans the opposition asks.
Opposition leaders were feeling stranded, then Kaboom a big story for the opposition comes up when they learnt that the Ruto government is trying to mess with the very important issue of pombe and where to consume it in large amounts and where to sell the stuff to eagerly waiting Kenyans.
Kenya’s sweeping alcohol control plan sparks anger

The opposition now has a new thing to be mad about. How dare the government try to mess up with mambo ya ulezi in Jamhuri now starting with Gachagua somewhere who alleges that he sorted out the whole ulezi business when he was Ruto’s DP and there is nothing else to do for the government
According to media reports a storm is brewing in Kenya over the latest proposals to control the sale and consumption of alcohol, including raising the minimum drinking age from 18 to 21.
The sweeping proposed rules, unveiled on Wednesday, include a ban on purchasing alcohol in supermarkets, restaurants and on public transport. The online sale and home delivery of alcoholic drinks as well as celebrity endorsements will also be outlawed.
The authorities have defended the planned measures as necessary to address substance abuse especially among the youth.
But many Kenyans, including those in the alcohol industry, have criticized the proposals as misguided and potentially destructive to the economy.
Now the opposition is going to be ready to challenge what they say are terrible decisions to interfere with alcohol use and sales in the country.
The first thing the opposition will reject is the changes in the allowed age requirement to buy and drink alcohol from 18 – 21 years old. The opposition will tell Kenyans that instead of swallowing the new age bracket on alcohol their WANTAM plan will reduce the drinking age so that 16 years old can consume this wonderful beverage as much as they want. Such a move will be great for parents the opposition will say because the kids will spend all their time at the alcohol stores instead of bothering their mothers for food at home.
Liquor retailers protest against proposed alcohol measures
Retailers expressed dismay that they were not consulted in the drafting of the National Policy.

Liquor retailers have voiced strong opposition to proposed alcohol control measures warning against blanket regulations that may disrupt legitimate business operations.
In terms of where to sell and drink alcohol where the Ruto government is stopping alcohol sales in transportation networks, supermarkets and all that, the opposition is going to tell Kenyans that they will open new places except for schools where the sale and production of alcohol will not be allowed. The opposition will tell Kenyans that sale and consumption of alcohol in schools will be restricted so that the teachers don’t get totally drunk and not able to find the classrooms where they are supposed to teach their students.
Everywhere else alcohol will be available in the new government and that is a promise the opposition intend to keep and never let Kenyans down about.

The opposition will promise to make sure that everybody has access to alcohol as a big part of their bottom up economic plan which will allow alcohol sale and use in Boda Boda transport centres so the motorbike riders and their passengers can get their thirst for alcohol abundantly quenched as this would make the trips faster and quicker for everybody and that will just be the start.
In the meantime there is something about rotten rice being sold to consumers and the opposition while looking into that will promise to buy all the rotten rice out of the markets so Kenyan consumers will not see anything like that when they go to buy food.
The opposition has already publicly informed Kenyans that this is just one of the endless plans of William Ruto to create chaos in the country.
“This is a criminal regime that not only resorts to willful violence against its people, resorts to physically harming its populace unfit for public consumption of goods, but also attempts to limit its people via willful and defunding education which is a right,” Karua noted.
Now we all get the drift of an opposition struggling like hell to find something to pin their hopes on. It is a hard job and may be Kenyans just out of sympathy could help these people but they may need to work harder and find something that appeals to Kenyans instead of just barking daily at Ruto and his government. It is tiresome to Kenyans and it is a miracle that opposition leaders cannot get tired of the same crap themselves.
But now here comes the big Goliath of the opposition H.E Rigathi Gachagua getting ready to walk straight into State House in Nairobi after months spent in the US. I mean what else would make a leader so prepared and ready for the big job than spending some time overseas. Jomo Kenyatta himself was in England as a student before he came back to lead the Mau Mau and become Kenya’s first president.

To follow that trend Rigathi Gachagua decided to take a working or rather walking vacation in the US and so far he is doing great and the opposition leaders at home with nothing else to do are busy day and night following all the great walks their future president and Kenya’s great hope is doing and Gachagua Twitter is now a must read and study for them and other Kenyans who are eagerly waiting for the Rigathi presidency.
Here Is Just a Glimpse of Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas taking a Walk To Get Ready For State House With A sit Down to Cool Off

Gachagua and Dorcas still have a few months more to walk in the US parks since there are not many such parks in Kenya yet and they promise to build big walking parks starting with one right from State House straight to Wamunyoro where they will take a sit down and walk back.
For many Kenyans they are just happy that Gachagua has taken his Wamunyoro politics to the US meeting a handful of his tribes mates from time to time and finally exposing himself as a diehard tribalist. Gachagua will only learn how damaging his trip to the US has been as he has exposed himself and left no doubt to Kenyans about what kind of politician he is.

Not to be outdone with Gachagua and Matiang’i journeying all over in the US, Kalonzo Musyoka decided it was time to get a new name for his old party from Wiper X to Wiper Y. That is wonderful, isn’t it?
Kalonzo unveils new identity as Wiper rebrands to Wiper Patriotic Front
“The name change reflects a deeper shift in purpose and identity,” Kalonzo stated.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has officially rebranded his political outfit from the Wiper Democratic Movement to the Wiper Party Front, a move he says is intended to align with the evolving political consciousness in Kenya, particularly among the youth.
“This is the party of the future, the party of the youth. We are taking into account the patriotic spirit of Gen Zs. The name change reflects a deeper shift in purpose and identity,” Kalonzo stated.
Kalonzo made sure that his newly named old party has become the party of the youth by surrounding himself with Kenya youth leaders in his team taking pictures with him. That is grand.
Kalonzo noted that they felt the word “democratic” had lost its weight and meaning in today’s political climate, where young Kenyans are increasingly questioning transparency, governance, and accountability.
“We realized that using the word ‘democratic’ in the party name no longer felt the same,” he said.
“It’s used loosely, yet the country continues to face challenges in safeguarding democratic values.”
Does anybody understand what Kalonzo is saying about how the word “democratic” being bad now because I don’t. I am sure Kenyan youth will understand that and vote for Kalonzo Musyoka who will be 75 years old in 2027 having spent over 40 years of those in government including being a Vice President during which time he achieved so much for young Kenyans. Good luck with that Steve.
Then of course Kalonzo also needed a sit down with the same youth leaders all around him.

Away from the entire opposition feasting with big crowds in their campaigns to get Kenyans to vote for the in 2027, some guy called Kithure Kindiki seem to be having too much fun talking and having a great time with Kenyans who seemed happy in what they were doing. Hopefully the opposition will eventually figure out how to meet with Kenyans and not just talk to media microphones about the country everyday.

Kindiki pledges alignment of govt policies with aspirations of the youth
In the wake of recent youth-led protests over governance and accountability, the Deputy President said the government had taken note of the grievances and was pursuing reforms to deliver meaningful change.
Speaking during a youth consultative forum at Mukothima in Tharaka Nithi County on Thursday, Kindiki said the younger generation is central to Kenya’s present and future development agenda, pledging that their voices will not only be heard but acted upon.
And to make things worse for the opposition the impeachment of their guru seems to be getting more entrenched in the laws of the land and that damn Kindiki guy was actually declared by the courts to be the D.P and Gachagua’s court case to stop that was dismissed.
Court dismisses petition against Kindiki’s legitimacy as DP

A Nairobi High Court rejected a bid to overturn the swearing-in of Deputy President Abraham Kithure Kindiki, citing that the matter has already been overtaken by events. Oh dear.
What does Gachagua do now? May be he keeps going on with those long walks in the US because he might need to be fit to jog around when the courts finally tell him he cannot hold any public office.
I can see Kalonzo smiling about that but he needs to smile with his mouth closed at least for now.

Oops I forgot that Harambee Stars were playing their first game in the CHAN Championship contest where they beat DR Congo 1-0 and President Ruto was in Kasarani Stadium to cheer the team.
Instead of celebrating the magnificent Harambee Stars victory with the rest of the country, Kalonzo Musyoka saw it as an excellent opportunity to attack the government claiming that President Ruto did not want Kenyans to attend the game and bought all the tickets.
So who were all those people cheering Harambee stars in the fully packed Kasarani Stadium throughout the game. Do they look like ghosts to Kalonzo or maybe the ghost is his kind of deranged politics. At least Kalonzo got to be in the news headline as he wanted.
Kalonzo accuses Government of blocking fans to Harambee Stars match

Wiper Patriotic Front Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka (center) with Mavoko MP Patrick Makau (left) celebrate Harambee Stars win against DR Congo in Karen on August 3, 2025.
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of deliberately denying Kenyans access to watch Harambee Stars in action.
Kalonzo claim that the government bought out all match tickets and barricaded roads leading to Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
Speaking on Sunday at Ruach Tabernacle Assembly, Kiambu, Kalonzo said the move was a politically motivated attempt to suppress public gatherings and frustrate efforts by opposition leaders to connect with ordinary Kenyans.
“As Kenyans and leaders, we wish our players good luck and donated some tickets because we knew they wanted a friendly crowd today in Kasarani, but I don’t know how they will manage the Gen Z watching all over,” Kalonzo said.
“They have blockaded all over because they don’t want Kenyans to attend the matches. They have bought every ticket for today’s event.”

Wiper Patriotic Front Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka at Ruach Tabernacle Assembly, Kiambu on August 3, 2025.
Kalonzo expressed support for the national team Harambee Stars, calling the national team a symbol of national cohesion.
“We wish our team Harambee Stars well in the game. This is something that puts us together as a nation. For now, let’s hold together. We do not even realise our own potential as a country.”
Kalonzo said the incident reflects a worrying trend of state interference in public events and suppression of democratic expression.
“I will look for the CS Sports so that he should rise above partisanship. He should give our fans an opportunity to cheer our national team without hindrance,” he said.
Kalonzo further linked the government’s conduct to Kenyans growing concerns over poor governance, saying that the high cost of living, unemployment, and lack of accountability have left Kenyans deeply frustrated.
“Even though we worry about the cost of living, we must rise above the challenges. The unemployment crisis will only be tackled by realising our full potential and stopping the theft and misuse of our national resources,” he said.
He said Kenyans are increasingly focused on the 2027 general elections, determined to make President William Ruto a one-term leader.
“Kenyans are fed up. Nothing is working. From every part of the country, people are frustrated. This is why 2027 is already on their minds.”
I mean for crying out loud if a person claiming to be a national leader and hopes to be the president of the country is so desperate as to reduce a big day for the country to his mediocre levels of pettiness then maybe one of the joyful fans coming from the game need to give him a hug and tell him to calm down for a few minutes at least and drink some water.
