The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced more than 500 job opportunities across various departments, with some positions open to applicants holding a minimum qualification of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Grade D.
SHA, established under the Social Health Insurance Act, 2023, is mandated to provide financial risk protection for Kenyan residents by facilitating equitable access to quality healthcare. The Authority noted that all advertised positions will be offered on a permanent and pensionable basis, with applications closing on October 2, 2025.

These include 47 Principal Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers, 183 Senior Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers, 99 Senior Registration and Compliance Officers, and 96 Senior Claims Management Officers.
Additional opportunities are available in finance, human resources, ICT, administration, supply chain management, internal audit, planning, legal, and customer experience. The Authority emphasized that all applicants must comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution, including presenting clearance certificates from the DCI, KRA, HELB, EACC, and a Credit Reference Bureau.
Interested candidates are required to submit a cover letter, detailed CV, academic and professional certificates, and contacts of at least three referees. Applications can be submitted online through recruitment.sha.go.ke or delivered physically to SHA offices on Ragati Road, Nairobi.
