Okwara Dismantles Gachagua In Citizen TV Interview Carnage

Rigathi Gachagua’s much-hyped Citizen TV sit-down with Yvonne Okwara on Monday night spiraled into a masterclass in political self-sabotage, exposing “Riggy G” as a venomous fraud peddling tribal poison, baseless smears, and delusional grandeur.

The impeached demagogue, desperate to claw back relevance after his US flop, crumbled under Okwara’s relentless fact-checking — mumbling through accusations, dodging evidence, and whining like a cornered charlatan. It was an unmasking of a man whose hatred for President Ruto blinds him to his own hypocrisy and incompetence.

From the outset, Okwara pierced Gachagua’s tribal armor, grilling him on his infamous “shareholder” rhetoric that reeks of ethnic entitlement. He bragged of negotiating eight Cabinet slots for “his people” out of 22 — a brazen admission of balkanizing Kenya for personal gain. But when pressed on regional balance, he slithered away, mumbling that “only Ruto can answer that,” despite claiming credit moments earlier.

The Al-Shabaab bombshell was pure farce. Gachagua accused Ruto of secret meetings with terrorists, but when asked for dates, venues, and proof, he stammered incoherently, offering none. It was an autopsy on his credibility — a man willing to gamble with national security by peddling treasonous lies for petty revenge.

Okwara repeatedly shut down his rants: “I’m interviewing you, not the President. Give evidence, stop name-calling.” Flustered, Gachagua cried “interrogation,” as if accountability equals persecution. He flatly refused to answer questions on corruption scandals or assassination claims, fumbling like a fraud exposed.

Even his 2027 presidential declaration sounded desperate — a bitter has-been hallucinating relevance amid political wreckage. Allies rushed online in defense: Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru branded Okwara a “state agent,” Senator Karungo wa Thang’wa echoed the whine, while MP Eric Wamumbi begged for softer questions. Their cultish outrage only underscored his toxic hold.

Riggy G didn’t rise. He imploded — a cautionary tale of lies devouring their maker.
