James Orengo doesn’t just want to hijack the Linda Mwanainchi and declare himself their presidential candidate, he also shamelessly wants to hijack Raila Odinga’s body from Kang’o Ka Jaramogi to be part of his journey for the presidency. Siaya Governor James Orengo has invoked the spirit of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as he unveiled a poster for the planned Linda Mwananchi Nairobi tour on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
“When we hit the city, we ride with Baba’s spirit!” Orengo said as he shared the poster, signalling a strong Raila legacy theme ahead of the Nairobi mobilisation.
The poster depicts Orengo seated on an ornate wooden throne as Raila is shown placing a crown on his head, surrounded by blue Linda Mwananchi flags and supporters.
