Kalonzo warns Sifuna, Gachagua against meeting Ruto
Right now the Kenyan opposition groups who are dying for Rigathi Gachagua’s attention are in full parade everywhere telling Kenyans that none of them has met President Ruto. Kalonzo yells NO I have not met Ruto and I was in Zanzibar having fun and William Ruto was not there with him he assures the country.
Who cares is the question that comes to everybody’s mind. You meet Satan if you wish at night and come to church in the morning and have your prayers and go home.
So it is Ruto more Ruto and Ruto that the entire opposition is screaming about day and night and nothing else about Kenya. How about healthcare for the country other than trying to bring back the failed NHIF system established in 1966 when Kenya had a population of 9 million people and they want to hang on to that and bring it back now when Kenya has a population of 55 million people. That is where the opposition is stuck on healthcare for Kenyans.
Nothing about the economy particularly with the young generation which is the majority in Kenya today. Nothing about any plans to help the Gen Z population get jobs, housing and economic prospects.
The opposition love to talk about young Kenyans when Gen Z are in the streets demanding human rights and better living conditions but they have nothing for them and no plans whatsoever in terms of economic initiatives and progress for them because that is not part of “Ruto Must Go” agenda which is the only thing that matters to those in the opposition today seeking to get power if Ruto can just hand over State House to them.
In the midst of this total lack of any agenda to help develop the country, everything for the opposition is about William Ruto and these folks has Ruto popping out of their mouths every minute they talk and nothing else. How great that must be for the country they seek to lead.
Today, Wiper Patriotic Front Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka expressed fury against speculative reports that he is about to ditch the Opposition to back President William Ruto’s reelection bid.
Kalonzo, who came out shortly after Linda Mwananchi Movement leaders led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino visited his offices, vehemently criticized Ruto over what he termed as desperation following overwhelming rejection by Kenyans.
The meeting between Sifuna and Kalonzo took place at the Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) Command Centre in Karen and they were sitting on some amazing sofas that made me wonder if those are made in Kenya and Kenyan youth are working to put all that together. Is that true or those are imported super sofas for the big boys who want to lead unemployed youth with little hope for their futures?
The Wiper Party Leader confirmed that the Opposition was united in removing Ruto from office. He added that anyone who looked back was going against what the country needs.
“We know that my younger brother here, Edwin, is running for president. We have all gone hunting, and when you hunt, you cannot use a single route, especially against an enemy like Ruto. We want to assure Kenyans that we will unite. We have no option,” he stated.
Kalonzo jokingly warned Sifuna against meeting with the Head of State, stating that the Kenya Kwanza government had already begun trying to disunite the Opposition.
“We will be making those announcements, and you have declared yourselves the guarantors of our unity. If I hear that Edwin, umekutana na Ruto, utakwisha.”
The United Opposition or the Alternative Government in Waiting as they fancy themselves cannot offer anything solid for Kenyans starting with the youth and it is a big problem.
Even the Boda Boda business which President William Ruto says he is helping as part of his Huster Fund project can be a starting point to initiate additional economic plans to help those young Kenyans move further and have more stable income.

I read about this Boda Boda group who put money together for some time and they formed a business and has just bought land in Kiambu and their plan is to continue with their Boda Boda business while also setting up a farm to produce what they can sell as part of their income.
It looked like a great plan by these young people because they know you cannot ride Boda Boda for life and if it can be a steppingstone to start some other economic activities that is really helpful for our young generation in that business.
Now here is where Kenyan opposition today completely bankrupt of any ideas for the country to move forward need to think and they can learn for those young people who bought land to start farming to supplement their Boda Boda income.
Why can’t the opposition come up with the idea of helping Boda Boda riders to form economic groups of their choice and they come together and register as a business in something like a car repair shop somewhere in Nairobi, Kisumu or wherever they work then the group goes on with their Boda Boda business to get basic income while also running car and motor bike repair shops which also generates income for them and offers them an opportunity to go into full time work at their car repair shop and just make that bigger and more helpful for them economically.
It would be great if the Kenya government can facilitate a process to help the Boda Boda riders build mechanic facilities like this one here to get more income and also be able to work in their mechanic shops when they are not on the road and move on with their lives to the next level.
All that the young Kenyans with their Bodas Bodas will need to set something like this up is one time Start Up capital from the governments both at the national and county levels.

If the opposition can come up with something like that as real proposal so that groups of very hard-working Kenyans making a living under very tough conditions can also invest elsewhere with some help from the government, it will work good for everybody.
But Kenyans will never hear any such fresh ideas from the opposition because they are too busy screaming about William Ruto and those young Kenyans cannot eat the screams from the opposition, they need real economic plans on the ground and not just talks about improving the economy with no single plan on the table how that is going to be done.
Some opposition leaders are talking about the constitution, the constitution and the constitution as the solution to all problems that Kenyans have to deal with and everything will be fine. If only Kenyans could eat the damn constitution somebody will have to print millions of copies every day to feed the population and all food problems in the country will be done with and over kabisa.
How about any ideas and proposals on how Gen Z young people in the country can be assisted to get jobs and join the work force to make a living. Is that something even remotely relevant to the Kenyan opposition as they seek to take power from Ruto?

In the ongoing drama about trying to make the opposition look busy and relevant, Kalonzo also issued some pretentious threat to Rigathi Gachagu not to meet Ruto otherwise Kalonzo will throw him out of the opposition. Don’t laugh please. Kalonzo actually said that.

“If my brother Riggy G tries to say that he will meet with Ruto, that will be the end of it because they are sending all kinds of emissaries. Anybody looking back will be a betrayer of national consciousness,” Kalonzo stated.
“I want to assure all the citizens of our country that if I will be the last man to drive Ruto out of office, I will,” the Wiper Leader added.
The biggest pretense here is that Kalonzo is telling Gachugua to stay away from Ruto or else he is out of the opposition while the real story behind the whole drama of the Linda team visiting Kalonzo and the big press conference after that was for Kalonzo to try to convince Gachagua to keep him in the opposition list of presidential candidate hopefuls at a time when Gachagua has drifted away from the likes of Kalonzo and is mounting his own campaigns with his DCP crew.
Opposition hopeful candidates like Kalonzo are terrified and trembling inside thinking Gachagua may just dump them in the political dustbin and go ahead and pick one of his DCP big boys as the opposition presidential candidate.
Kalonzo would really love it if Gachagua can invite him to one of his rallies so he can become visible somehow to Kenyans that he is still in the presidential race. That is the whole mission for all the charade going on today.
This also comes months after President Ruto directed criticism at Kalonzo, claiming that some leaders are now seeking the presidency without a vision and clear policy proposals.
“The challenge we have had is the challenge of leadership. Mtu tu anataka kupigiwa makofi, morning and evening, anaimbiwa na wamama, and there is nothing they are doing. He has no plan, he has no idea, he has no agenda, he has no programme, he has no vision,” Ruto said during a recent development tour in Machakos County.
Maanzo claims: ‘I was offered Sh10m to vote out Gachagua, but I rejected it’
To further assist their boss to get the attention from Gachagua, the Kalonzo cheer leaders like Senator Dan Maanzo are busy inventing stories of how they tried to save Gachagua from impeachment and refused to take money to vote him out.
Poor Gachagua is in a nightmare because those who voted to impeach him like Senator Sifuna are telling him to ignore that vote and they ready to be his followers. While others are telling him he needs to work with them because they refused money and voted NO to try to save him.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Thursday, Maanzo claimed senators were offered Sh10 million each to vote in favour of Gachagua’s removal. Maanzo claimed he had personally turned down the alleged offer. When asked whether the people he was referring to were fellow legislators, Maanzo said they were not. At the end of their meeting Mike Sonko being Mike Sonko just told Kalonzo Musyoka the truth which is obvious and that is the fact that 2027 is the last chance for Kalonzo to try getting to State House even if he has to be rolled there in a wheelbarrow by Gachagua and if it doesn’t work Kalonzo will need a new career other than politics.
Sonko to Kalonzo: Don’t disappoint us, this is your only bullet at the presidency
Sonko appealed to the Wiper leader to remain committed to the opposition’s agenda and assured him of his backing.
Speaking on Thursday during a meeting of opposition leaders at the SKM Centre in Nairobi, Sonko described the next presidential election as Kalonzo’s defining political moment, saying it represented what he termed the veteran politician’s final opportunity to ascend to the country’s highest office.
“Your Excellency, this is your only bullet,” Sonko said as he addressed Kalonzo before the gathering.
“Kalonzo Musyoka, we are behind you. Do not disappoint us, and don’t join them. We will support you to the end. Your Excellency, remember this is your last bullet in politics to become President,” Sonko said.
The real story here behind this chokehold in the opposition is that we have a ton of people desperate to get that opposition presidential ticket in 2027.
For Kalonzo Musyoka just like Mike Sonko said this is his last shot because he will be 74 years old and he misses that it is game over. Standing next to him is Senator Edwin Sifuna who according to the polls whether they are real or imaginary is leading in the presidential race and now wants to go for the big seat.

Standing ominously behind the backs of all opposition leaders is the mighty Rigathi Gachagua who may go with his own candidate. Sadly, for all of them only one person can occupy that William Ruto seat and the nightmare for them is who gets the chance to go head-to-head with Ruto.
If these opposition leaders were smart enough to have a collective agenda to put in place if they can manage to get William Ruto out of office, it would not matter so much who takes State House because their agenda will be put to work and they can all assist doing their part from whatever position they have after Ruto is gone.
With zero agenda and no plans for the future of the country all the opposition leaders are telling Kenyans that President Ruto is a dictator and each one of them wants to be next dictator after him with no plans for the future of the country.
How on earth the opposition leaders think such a dump idea can fool Kenyans and work for them is beyond simple minds like mine to comprehend. The nation will find out what Kenyans think about all that in August 2027.
