World Cup: Lionel in the House for the Semi Finals

1 min read

A day that was getting complicated and tough for football lovers all over the world got cleaned up by Lionel Messi and his Argentina team to put them in the semi-finals at the World Cup.

Argentina had the lead twice in the game but the Netherlands tied the game and took it to overtime and then to the penalties just like the match before between Brazil and Croatia.

Bad day for one of the best footballers ever in our universe.

Ain’t nobody like this dude. Virgil van Dijk. Full-time center-back who has taken Liverpool to the heart of Europe Football winning the biggest trophy in European football in 2019 which was beautiful.

That was then. What is it now? Big question. Superstars in football as we know and love are in our faces. Good. Now Messi is through to the semis against Croatia, the stubborn guys who won’t let anybody beat them even if you are Brazil with Naymar and Thiago Silva.

Football at its best is coming in front of us this weekend. We will be kind enough to watch that with anticipation that the best must win always. What is wrong with that?
