Ousted Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on Thursday denied entry at ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Capitol Hill offices in Nairobi. According to reports, the former Nairobi boss went to seek an audience with the former premier who was having a meeting with representatives of Githurai traders.

“It is true Sonko came to Capitol Hill, pushed his way past the gate wanting to see the PM, who was in a meeting with representatives of Githurai traders. The PM was not expecting him and did not see him. We don’t know what his (Sonko) agenda was,” Dennis Onyango, who is Raila Odinga’s spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday evening.

Sonko has in the past few days waged a verbal war on President Uhuru and his administration, which he blames for his ouster. Currently, the former Governor supports Deputy President William Ruto for presidency and has since cut ties with the ruling Jubilee Party.

  1. Sonko may either be desperate enough for endorsements from Raila, or stupid enough to think he can sway and collect info from the Rt. Hon
