Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has joined the UDA war against Governor Johnson Sakaja at City Hall.

In an interview on Tuesday, Sonko asked Governor Sakaja to respect the people of Nairobi and went ahead to threaten they can eject the governor from office using the power of the people.

“Respect the great people of Nairobi. Na kung’olewa si lazima wananchi wakung’owe. We can use the power of the people to remove you from that seat,” Sonko said.

He also said they were going to cause havoc at City Hall if the governor continues to disrespect UDA, the Deputy President, and President Ruto.

“Tumekunyamazia sana because we respect you. But ukianza kudharau UDA, President and Deputy President, I am sure we are going to cause havoc,” he continued.

Sonko, who is said to be planning a political comeback in Nairobi asked Governor Sakaja to respect all stakeholders in the city when making decisions.

”Respect everyone including the business community. MCAs have lifted the ban on nightclubs and you are insisting the ban I still there. Wacha kudharau wananchi.”
