Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has revealed DP William Ruto had plans to remove President Uhuru Kenyatta from power, using uncostitutional means before the Head of State reached out to Raila Odinga for the Handshake.

Speaking in Lodwar when he accompanied ODM leader Raila Odinga for a BBI campaign tour, the former Starehe lawmaker said it was Odinga who stabilized the president’s regime.

”Kama Raila hangekuja pamoja na Uhuru, hata Uhuru angeondolewa na huyo jamaa,” Kamanda told the meeting comprising youth and women leaders in the area.

On his part, ODM leader Raila Odinga said the BBI would be of great benefit to the people of Turkana County because more funds will be devolved to the county.

Other leaders who accompanied the ODM boss were Cabinet Secretary John Munyes, Minority Whip Junet Mohammed, Homabay Women Rep Gladys Wanga, MP Mishi Mboko, MP Jeremiah Lomorukai among others.
