Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has asked the ruling party to ensure Senator Edwin Sifuna and City Woman Rep Esther Passaris are invited to government functions in the city and that two leaders must be respected after being overwhelmingly voted to office by Nairobians.

Saa zingine Senator hua anasahauliwa…Seneta wetu Edwin Sifuna awe anaalikwa anaambiwa tuko na function, anaalikwa rasmi ili aje,” Governor Sakaja in Nairobi on Saturday.

Heshima sio utumwa,” Sakaja continued, adding that he had given similar instructions to the Nairobi county government to involve leaders from both sides of the political divide in running the county.

The Governor has also asked city residents not to allow unnamed politicians to divide them along tribal or political party lines.
