Drama in Kiangua, Meru as residents call KWS over a paper lion

There was drama earlier today at Mutiribu, Kiangua in Meru county when residents went into a panic after spotting a lion in one of the homes, hiding in the flower hedges.

Fearful of their lives, the villagers began fleeing with some calling the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) offices in Meru County to come to secure the man-eaters and take them back to the game park.

However, upon the arrival of KWS officers, the lion turned out to be a paperbag.
